I'm on a mission to support those facing cancer

Daisy and I are riding for the first time in the BMO Ride For Cancer, taking place October 3, 2026. We've joined the team "Elaine's Legacy Riders" consisting of 12 riders that have each been touched by cancer. 

We are riding in honor of our friend Elaine, as well as in memory of my dear Mother who died of Leukemia many years ago, and Chris MacKinnon and our neighbor Nelson MacKinnon. We are also honoring our friend Sandy's son Nicholas and Elaine's daughter Michelle, as well as Daisy's brother Raymond.

This incredible event has been held for the past 11 years, and this years ride is the final one. Millions have been raised, and best of all, the money stays here in Nova Scotia.
