Our Volunteer Crew will join us for an epic experience and be a part of the behind the scenes action of Atlantic Canada’s largest cycling fundraising event. As part of our Volunteer Crew, you are invited to our Finish Festival celebrations at LED Roadway & Lighting. In addition, we will provide you with an official Volunteer Crew long-sleeve shirt, event day meals, and snacks.

Role Descriptions

HOSPITALITY 

Our hospitality volunteers are high energy individuals who will help to ensure that all riders have an epic and encouraging event experience. This could include managing the water and snacks at a pit stop, helping to coordinate and serve lunch, presenting medals to riders and welcoming them to our epic finish line.

MARSHALLS

Our marshalls will provide directional support along the road or trail to ensure that riders are safe and following the correct route.

MEDICAL

Our medical volunteers will help ensure that riders are safe on event day and will provide medical assistance if necessary. First aid certification required.

LOGISTICS

Our logistics volunteers will help to ensure that all riders, bikes, and signage are in the right place at the right time. This could include loading and unloading bikes, bike check-in, late registration, transportation support, parking support and much more.

When registering as a Volunteer Crew member, it is important to remember that some roles can be physically demanding. This includes heavy lifting, hard work, long hours, and being on your feet all day. For the success and safety of our event and its participants, it is crucial that you are comfortable with this.
