Supporting cancer care in Atlantic Canada. Learn More.

I'm on a mission to create a world without fear of cancer!

Nova Scotia has the highest cancer rates in Canada. Cancer touches countless lives — from patients and survivors to families and caregivers. Its impact is far-reaching, and no one faces it alone. That’s why it’s so important to stand with those who are fighting, offering support, strength, and hope every step of the way. Together, we can make a difference.

Currently, 1 in 2 are diagnosed in their lifetime and 1 in 3 patients will not survive. That’s why I am riding in the 11th annual BMO Ride for Cancer to help fund life-saving care for all Nova Scotians.

To help combat these alarming stats, our BMO Ride for Cancer community will equip our QEII experts with the diagnostic tools they need to deliver some of Canada’s most leading-edge cancer care available — ensuring our loved ones have the best possible chance of conquering cancer.

Funds raised by our 2025 BMO Ride for Cancer community will unlock more precise, targeted therapies that have fewer side effects and allow for earlier detection of cancer recurrence for patients being treated at the QEII Cancer Centre; Atlantic Canada’s largest and most specialized cancer treatment hospital.

With every dollar you donate to my Ride, you’re bringing us closer to a future where precision oncology WILL save and change the lives of Nova Scotians.

Please donate to my Ride today!

My Updates

Training Begins - today!

First 10km completed today on the Rails to Trails.  Not gonna lie - the first km was the hardest, and settled on just doing 5km.  But after a couple of breaks (and a little downhill slope), I pushed on and did the full 10km.

The bike has been collecting dust for a couple of years, and haven't been an avid rider in a long time, so I suspect to discover some sore muscles that I forgot I had.  Felt great to be back on the trail - nice ride and perfect weather!
