I'm on a mission to support those facing cancer
This September, I'll be participating in the BMO Ride for Cancer to help raise funds for cancer care in Nova Scotia.
Like many people, cancer is a cause that is close to my heart as it has impacted several of my loved ones.
The BMO Ride for Cancer supports life-saving care and innovation through the QE2 Health Sciences Centre, Atlantic Canada’s largest and most specialized cancer treatment hospital. Funds raised will help patients and families during every stage of their journey.
As part of my fundraising efforts, I'll be hosting "Bake Ride Tuesdays" throughout the summer, sharing homemade scones by donation with coworkers at Alice House and the Port of Halifax.
Thank you for supporting this ride and making a difference!

Week 2!
24 lemon & wild blueberry scones are on their way to HPA and Alice House! I worked out some kinks for baking a triple batch in our tiny kitchen and I think this flavour will be a favourite. Share
Kicking off Bake Ride Tuesdays!
Today is the first Bake Ride Tuesday, where me and Blair are selling homemade scones in support of the ride. I baked 24 orange rhubarb scones this week and learned that scaling up recipes in a small kitchen is a bit of a challenge. There were some lessons learned! I hope they are enjoyed 🤠Thank you to my Supporters
