Supporting cancer care in Atlantic Canada. Learn More.

I am riding in memory of my grandmother and everyone who has been affected by cancer. Let's fight this together!

Did you know that Nova Scotia has the highest cancer rates in Canada? I may be young, but I know cancer is a huge bummer. And we’ve got to do something about it.

That’s why I’m riding in the BMO Ride for Cancer youth ride on Saturday, September 28, 2024, to help local cancer patients and their families. But I can’t do it without you!

When you donate to my ride, together we’ll introduce liquid biopsy technology that will help determine if a patient’s cancer is cured, if it has returned, and, if so, how best to treat it.

For some patients, this means a life-saving technology funded by us could potentially determine if their cancer is cured after surgery. Yes, I said cured! How cool is that? It’s a no-brainer, right? And by donating, you can help bring it to the QEII Health Sciences Centre.

I’m pretty proud to be riding. If you’re proud of me too, please support my ride today. Thank you!

BMO Ride for Cancer Ambassador

I have been chosen as an Ambassador of the BMO Ride for Cancer this year and I am proud to represent this incredible event. In 2018 and 2019, I was cheering my mom who was riding 100kms and in 2020, I decided to ride myself! I have been riding 50kms every year since then to raise money to fight cancer in Atlantic Canada alongside my parents and my grandfather.

I am riding for many different reasons. My "mamie" is a cancer survivor and I am lucky that she is still around to see me grow. My other grandmother sadly passed away from cancer a few years ago, but I know she is still watching over me.

Thank you for supporting my ride, but most importantly thank you for contributing to changing the lives of so many Nova Scotians affected or that will be affected by cancer. Let's save lives together!
