I'm on a mission to support those facing cancer

I am preparing for my 50 km cycling fundraiser to raise funds for cancer research. This will be my 8th year and the final year for this event, and THE LAST YEAR I'LL BE ASKING FOR DONATIONS LOL Can you help me go out on a high note?

On October 3, 2026, I’ll be riding with our team, Mikey’s Bikers, made up of 19 members. Thanks to your generosity, the members of our team have raised an incredible $232,635 since 2016 and we hope to surpass our overall goal of $250,000 with your support!
Funds raised by this year’s event will support the full spectrum of cancer care at the QEII, strengthening every stage of the journey: earlier diagnosis, more targeted treatment, effective support between appointments, and monitoring that can detect cancer recurrence sooner.
As a Ride for Cancer community, we collectively have an early goal as part of our overall fundraising and that’s to raise $600,000 by June 30 to bring MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) technology to the QEII. MRD is advanced testing that can detect microscopic traces of cancer in the blood long before a scan can see them.
