Why I'm Riding!
Bonnie was one of the most positive people I've ever met; she always had a smile and a good word for everyone. Getting cancer didn't change that for her. She survived, and joined me for a couple of the Ride For Cancer events. She unfortunately lost her fight with cancer in 2019, but she lives on in our memories.I'm riding for Bonnie.
For as long as I can remember, Kevin had been a part of my family. He lived with us when I was a child, and became somewhat of an Uncle to myself and my sister while we were growing up. We lost touch, but he was never far from our thoughts. We were saddened by his cancer diagnosis last year, and shattered by his death in March 2026. We're still picking up the pieces of our lives and learning to live with the grief of his loss.
I'm riding for Kevin.
As you think about your lives, and the lives of your loved ones, consider how many people you know that will be impacted by cancer at some point in their lives, either through their own diagnosis or that of a loved one.
Let's do our part to advance the cancer fighting treatment options!
I'm riding for YOU.
