Together We Can Make An Impact!

I'm excited to share that I will be joining the BMO Ride for Cancer - The Grand Finale on October 3rd alongside our hotel team and valued corporate partners.
This is my first year taking part in this incredible event, which has been making a difference for over a decade. Since 2015, the BMO Ride community has raised more than $15 million to support 12 transformative cancer care projects at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. These initiatives have helped deliver earlier diagnoses, more personalized treatments, and better outcomes for patients across Nova Scotia. Funds raised continue to support every stage of cancer care at the region’s largest and most specialized treatment facility.
Like many of us, I’ve seen the impact cancer can have in our lives. I was about 14 when my step grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I watched her fighting bravely and gracefully for years before she left us. The experience is a big part of why I chose to participate, aside from the professional opportunity we could get from it, this is something that matters to me on a personal level.
I believe that life isn’t defined by what we own, but more about what we give. It isn’t about grinding, but more about making a meaningful impact. Legacy isn’t built in a day, Rome wasn’t built in a day... And I hope that you will consider to join me in raising the fund for this wonderful cause and together we can leave an impact in our community!
