I'm on a mission to support those facing cancer

Cancer has impacted so many of us. In my own life, I’ve had close family and friends face this disease. It touches almost every family in one way or another, and it’s why this cause means so much to me.

This year marks my fourth year participating in the BMO Ride for Cancer, raising funds to help advance cancer care at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.

Funds raised support advancements in earlier diagnosis, precision oncology, surgical robotics and other technologies that are changing how cancer is detected and treated. And while the QEII is located in Nova Scotia, its impact reaches well beyond the province, with its specialized care, expertise and technology benefiting patients and families from across Atlantic Canada.

I also want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me in previous years. Your generosity has meant a lot, and I’m reaching out again this year to ask for your support. Whether you’ve donated before or this is your first time, any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
