First of all I hope you and your family are well.

I am writing to ask you again to support  the QE2 Foundation BMO Ride for Cancer.

The funds that you donate do save lives.

Every year the Ride funds very specific projects that aggressively attack cancer. This year we are looking at 2 very important treatments. Treatments that will give the QE2 cancer fighting tools that are found at only one other center in Canada.

The first is MINIMAL RESIDUAL DISEASE MONITORING. This will PINPOINT hidden traces of cancer after treatment. This is critical for blood cancers like Leukemia.

The second is COMPREHENSIVE GENOMIC PROFILING (CGP). This allows us to MAP A TUMOUR'S GENETIC MAKEUP.
This allows the cancer specialists to actually PERSONALIZE CARE. This is a BOUTIQUE approach to treatment. To pick the ideal treatment for each tumour. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER. Think about the fact that we can customize chemotherapy treatments for each case giving us the very best chance to get it right.

WHY YOU MUST GIVE GENEROUSLY!!!  Better cancer care allows all Nova Scotians to enjoy more birthdays, more anniversaries, more Christmases. We are buying more vital memories for our patients and their families.
