Supporting cancer care in Atlantic Canada. Learn More.

For me it's always been personal.

2021 marks my third Ride for Cancer. In year one, I rode for myself, in year two, I rode for two family members who were fighting their battles with cancer during the pandemic.

This year, I ride to honor my family members who lost their fight and are no longer with us… my dad, Doug, who lost his fight last September, my father-in-law, Gene, and my step-mother, June. When 1 in 2 Atlantic Canadians are diagnosed with one of over 200 cancers, it affects every family.

This year, the goal is high, but the pay-off is huge... to bring new cancer-fighting genetic sequencing technology to the QEII Health Sciences Centre. That means better outcomes, fewer side effects, and access to new therapies or clinical trials here at home for Atlantic Canadians.

I’m training every weekend to get ready for my 50km ride on October 2. I’m asking for your help and support.

Please donate if you can. If you can't please spread the word.
