Riding in Memory of my grandfather, Philip Healey and scientific mentor, Dr. Markus Kienast
As many of you know, my grandfather passed away suddenly last year from an aggressive cancer diagnosis. More recently, I lost an incredible scientific mentor of mine, Dr. Markus Kienast to cancer. Both of these wonderful men had a profound impact on my life, and I miss them dearly.
In their memory, I will be taking part in the BMO 160km Ride for Cancer on September 27th 2025. Funds raised through my ride will help equip QEII experts with the precision oncology tools they need to deliver some of Canada’s most leading-edge cancer care available, ensuring our loved ones have the best possible chance of conquering cancer.
