Join me in the fight against cancer!

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, I'll be hitting the trails with Team Mikey's Bikers in support of our dear friend and team captain, Mike Parsons. Thanks to the incredibly generous support of our family, friends, and co-workers, members of our team have raised $185,753 over the years to improve cancer care and support patients and their familes through some of the toughest moments of their lives. Mike continues to navigate his own journey with cancer after being diagnosed with primary myelofibrosis (a form of chronic leukemia) in 2017 and will help to lead this fight against cancer once again in 2024.

We have all been touched by cancer and Nova Scotia has the highest cancer rates in all of Canada. 1 in 3 patients will not survive. To help combat these alarming stats, our BMO Ride for Cancer community is rallying like never before to introduce liquid biopsy technology that will help determine if a patient’s cancer is cured, if it has returned, and, if so, how best to treat it. It's a game changing advance in cancer care that will make a real difference in peoples lives.
